We work primarily with small and mid-sized nonprofits that are falling short of their potential due to infighting, turnover, weak leadership, and/or poor overall inter-staff relations.
The process varies depending on the organization, but generally consists of a variety of methods, including but not limited to all-staff meetings, 1:1 conversations, content analyses of internal communications, surveys, focus groups, and the consultant’s own observations.
Methods will vary, but will usually include a combination of surveys, interviews, focus groups, content analysis, and observation.
All data is used specifically and exclusively in the development of a dedicated proposal, report, and set of recommendations. Staff responses are kept strictly confidential, including from leadership and all organizational stakeholders. We do not collect personally identifying information or share identifying data with any other individual or entity, though we may reference either in non-identifying ways. Nontoxic Nonprofits retains ownership of all raw data and all research tools used in the execution of a contract.
